School Supply Fundraiser


Dear Parents,
The Parent Advisory Council would like to extend an invitation for you to purchase your school supplies in advance.

We have filed the school supply lists for each grade with a company called “Teacher’s File.” They pre-package the supplies (including the specific brand name items requested by teachers) into individual student bags and deliver them to the school. The bags are then distributed to the correct classroom, so that when your child arrives for school in September, their supply bag will be waiting for them!

Our school receives 10% of our overall order back as a fundraiser. So in addition to the ease in which you can order, and the great price on the quality items you will be receiving, you are also contributing to school fundraising by participating in this worth while program!

Here are the school supply lists for 2014 – 2015.

The PAC is currently looking into setting up a fundraiser for school supplies using a BC based company that would allow online ordering / payment.  All supplies will arrive at the school individually packaged in September.  Stay tuned for more details.

2014 Father Daughter Dance


Dust off your dancing shoes – the Pemberton Father Daughter Dance is coming soon!

The Signal Hill Elementary School Parent Advisory Council is excited to host Pemberton’s 16th annual Father Daughter Dance on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Big Sky Golf and Country Club.

This event is very popular, attracting dads and their daughters from the Pemberton Valley. The Father Daughter Dance is a fundraiser for the elementary school (last year’s event raised nearly $2,500). It’s a fun evening including dinner and dancing for dads and their daughters, as well as a hula hoop contest, jelly bean count, raffle (raffle tickets will be available for $1 each) and silent auction. This year, funds raised through the raffle, 50/50 and silent auction will be matched by the Pemberton Scotia Bank! Each dad and daughter also receives a photo with Sea to Sky Photography. We are excited to say that each girl attending the dance will also once again receive a ticket for a free photo in the Cheesebox PhotoBooth (additional photo booth photos will be available to purchase at a reduced rate of $2 each).

Ticket prices remain the same as last year — $10 for daughters and $30 for dads

As space is limited and this is a fundraiser for the Signal Hill school PAC, girls attending the dance MUST be current students (Kindergarten to Grade 7) of Signal Hill Elementary School.

Tickets will be available to purchase online starting Monday, June 2. Tickets MUST be purchased in advance. There will be absolutely NO tickets sold at the door.  Capacity is limited and this event will sell out.

Use the same login information you use to order hot lunches. If you do not have an account on this website, you will need to register on the site. If you do not know your log-in information, simply click “forgot password”.

Once you have purchased tickets online you will receive an email confirmation and be placed on a master list to be used at the event.

A small allotment of tickets will be available for purchase by cheque or cash. If you need to purchase your ticket by cheque or cash, please contact Christine Andrew at the school. You will not receive an actual ticket but will be placed on the master list to be used at the event.

Volunteers: this event won’t happen without the help of many volunteers needed on the day of the event (set up from 3-5 p.m. and during the event). If you can help, please contact one of the organizers listed below.

Cookie Dough Fundraiser – ON NOW!



In-Dey-Go Cookie Dough – ON SALE NOW!

Students at Signal Hill Elementary are selling cookie dough to raise money to purchase park benches for the new Intermediate Playground that will be installed next month.

In-Dey-Go Cookie Dough product line includes all your traditional favourites as well as gluten free, nut free and doggie dough options. They are excellent products to sell as people, and dogs, always love delicious treats!

Order forms were sent home with students last week.  Additional order forms are available at the office.  BONUS:  The two classes who sell the most tubs of dough will get their very own big plate of freshly baked cookies to feast on.

Announcing Logowear Fundraiser for Fall 2013!


Dear Parents and Caregivers,

The Signal Hill Elementary PAC is excited to announce a new fundraiser.   September 2013 we will begin selling SHE logo wear items including:

  • T-Shirts
  • Sweatshirts
  • Ballcaps
  • Waterbottles
  • Insulated lunch bags
  • Gym bags

Items will be available to order in September and samples will be displayed at the school.  Order forms will be available through this blog and will be sent home with students the first week of school.  Proceeds will go towards the Intermediate Playground Project.

Playground Fundraiser – Tues Feb 5th – Creekbread Whistler

help us achieve our goal in raising money towards a new intermediate
playground! Creekbread will donate a portion of every pizza sale and
Pemberton businesses have stepped up and generously donated raffle items
including gift certificates, merchandise, yoga passes, and a one night stay at
the Pemberton Valley Lodge!

Oranges are coming!


Help the Student Fundraising Committee and the Parent Advisory Council raise funds for the Intermediate Playground Project

Presale orders Due January 30th – Don’t delay, they sell fast!  They are easy to divide and share!
